Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer thinks that the movie Breaking Dawn Part 2 doesn’t have to be the last episode in the Twilight saga – even though there are no more books!
“I’m anticipating Breaking Dawn Part 2 being $700 million-plus in worldwide box office,” he told the LA Times. “It’s hard for me to imagine a movie that does $700 million-plus doesn’t have ongoing value. It’s an amazing franchise that they have done a great job of maintaining with absolutely no deterioration. So the simple answer is ‘Boy I hope so.’”
Well bringing in that amount of money, of course you hope it goes on! So will the story continue until the cast are all using Zimmer frames, or do we need a prequel or three now? You’ll just have to wait and see…
